1. I am from Macomb, Illinois, a small town in west central Illinois.
2. In addition to my biology degrees, I have a bachelor's in French.
3. I love playing sports. I have been playing roller derby for five years and my newest interests are rugby and crossfit. 
4. I love traveling and will go scuba diving if I am near a body of water. 
5. All of my siblings are named after places: Alexandria, Britain, and Rome.
